About the Event

Artist Anastasiya Samohovetc from Belarus presents the personal exhibition with open talks about gender and identity.

“For me, gender and identity have more variations than just two.

As a woman artist, I always challenged the identity through abstract pictures of the bodies. My paintings its how I see people figures fit in the social construct”

In the twenty-first century, issues of identity seem increasingly complex and problematic, but also of fundamental and growing importance. In this way, the contemporary art world is a microcosm reflecting significant aspects of the larger world in which we live.

The world goes beyond the binary model. The existence of intersex and Qeer people proves it in many ways!

Explore the art, music, speeches, and movies, inspired by love, desire, and identity.
